Resource Software International Ltd. (RSI) becomes an official Nortel Networks Developer Partner

OSHAWA, ONTARIO, CANADA - August 1, 2001 - Resource Software International Ltd. (RSI) announced today it has been granted official Nortel Networks (NYSE: NT)  Developer Partner designation. This designation comes on the heels of  Compatible Product certification for core RSI communications management solutions on Nortel Networks switching platforms (i.e. BCM, Norstar, Meridian 1)

As a Nortel Networks Developer Partner, Resource Software International Ltd. will leverage Nortel technology to provide tailored communications management solutions to Nortel customers.  "This designation represents many years of cooperation and teamwork by our technical people.  We are now forging a much stronger relationship that will include co-marketing initiatives, product integration and greater availability for our solutions to Nortel distribution channels.", said Rito Salomone, President of RSI.

Shadow CMS is a powerful system that facilitates communications management for all Nortel Networks switching platforms (i.e. BCM)  Modules include call accounting, hotel billing, guest tracking, traffic analysis, ACD reporting, forced/verified account codes and web call management.

Rapport for TAPI is a revolutionary Desktop Telephony Interface designed to seamlessly integrate telephony control into the users 32 bit desktop environment. Rapport allows you to use your favourite contact management application for outbound dialing and inbound screen pop. 

tools CTI Pack  features include Forced/Verified Account Codes,  Automated Wake-up calls, Set Locking/Unlocking and Text Messaging.  These features have resulted in enhanced call handling in Professional Environments (Lawyers, Chartered Accountants, Engineers, etc) as well as Hospitality Environments.  RSI also offers seamless integration to their Call Accounting Suite of products.  

SalesPro is a comprehensive Configuration and Proposal Management System. SalesPro can create Proposals, Contracts and Item lists for the proposed system. Built in reporting provides management information and the open database design allows you to build the SalesPro database around the equipment you sell.

What is CDR?

    CDR is an abbreviation for the term Call Detail Recording. It is the data that is submitted by your telephone system to a collection device linked to your call accounting package. The data contains particular information about every telephone call including date, time, duration, digits dialed and trunk line. Often the term SMDR (Station Message Detail Recording is used interchangeably with CDR). The "raw" information is generally interpreted and translated into a database for real time or scheduled processing and reporting.
